Overview
SIPEasy is an Australian provider of business communications. Its website lists voice services including SIP trunking, hosted and on-premise phone systems and inbound calling, alongside business nbn, business Ethernet and MPLS networks, cloud services such as co-location and managed firewalls, and 4G mobility solutions.
Businesses review their phone provider for ordinary reasons: a contract term is ending, the office is moving, the phone system is due for replacement, or they want their phones and internet from one carrier that deals only with businesses.
Summit offers SIP trunks for the phone system you already own, a cloud phone system, Microsoft Teams Calling, 1300 and 1800 numbers, business nbn with a static IP and business mobile, all on a network we build, own and operate. Summit Internet is an independent carrier and is not affiliated with SIPEasy.
How Summit Helps
-
SIP Trunks for the Phone System You Already Own
If your on-site phone system still does the job, SIP trunks connect it to our network. Start from 2 channels and scale up or down as your call volumes change.
-
A Cloud Phone System With Every Feature Included
Our Hosted PBX starts from $10 per user per month and includes auto attendant (IVR), ring groups, call queues, voicemail to email, call recording and mobile and desktop apps. We can preconfigure your handsets and ship them to you.
-
Calls in Microsoft Teams
Answer your calls in Microsoft Teams through Direct Routing. You keep your existing Microsoft licences, and we provide the calling.
-
Inbound Numbers, Fax to Email and On-Hold Messaging
We provide 1300 and 1800 numbers that can be answered on the phone system we run for you, plus fax to email and on-hold messaging.
-
Business nbn With a Static IP
Put your phones and internet with one carrier. Business nbn is available nationally with a static IP included, and speeds up to 2000/500 Mbps on full-fibre nbn. For sites that need dedicated capacity, we offer Ethernet over fibre.
-
Voice Prioritised on Our Network
When your internet connection is also Summit's, voice traffic is prioritised with QoS, so calls are not competing with downloads and cloud backups.
-
Backup That Fails Over Automatically
4G Backup switches to Australia's biggest mobile network (98.8% population coverage) if your primary link drops, and fails back automatically when it returns. We also offer 4G Static IP services.
-
Phones, Internet and Mobile on One Bill
Add business mobile SIM plans and your SIP trunks or cloud phones, internet and mobiles arrive on one bill from one carrier.
How It Works
- 1 Tell us what you have
Tell us what you have
Share your phone numbers, how many SIP channels or users you have, the phone system you use, your internet service and any contract end dates, and we will map out the equivalent Summit services.
- 2 Get a clear quote
Get a clear quote
We recommend SIP trunks, a cloud phone system or Teams Calling, plus internet if you want it, and put it in writing.
- 3 Set up and test
Set up and test
We configure your trunks or build your call flows, ring groups and queues while your existing services keep running.
- 4 Port your numbers
Port your numbers
Where your numbers can be ported, we lodge the port. Keep your old service active until the port completes, because only active numbers can be ported. The ACMA says single local numbers generally port in 8 to 15 days, and multi-number ports can take up to 30 days.
- 5 Cancel the old services
Cancel the old services
Once your numbers have moved and everything is working, you cancel your previous services.

We recently moved our dental practice over to Summit for phone services, and the experience has been excellent from start to finish. The team has been responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire setup process. The transition was smooth, any issues were addressed promptly, and communication was always clear and efficient. Reliable phones and internet are essential for a busy practice like ours, and Summit has delivered exactly that. A special thank you to Michael for his patience and ongoing assistance during the transition. Highly recommend Summit to any business looking for reliable service and great customer support.Read more

After working with another ISP for several months to deliver a critical internet service for a major international sporting event, we were ultimately advised that the required upgrade was unlikely to be completed prior to event week. This left us facing a significant risk to service delivery. After exhausting all other options (and a few sleepless nights) we came across Summit Internet. From the initial conversation, Allan immediately understood the severity of the situation and quickly engaged his technical delivery team. Michael “Radar” was on site within days to assess and finalise a solution. Despite challenging conditions, including large trees and other obstructions, he worked tirelessly to design and implement an alternative approach. Leveraging an adjacent building, a temporary NBN connection, and a wireless link into the comms room, the solution was delivered within 24 hours of the initial site visit. Not only was the outcome faster than expected, but it was also more cost effective and delivered higher speeds than originally promised by the previous ISP. Over the course of the event, the service handled terabytes of data and supported hundreds of concurrent users without a single speed or performance issue. I cannot thank Summit Internet, particularly Allan and Radar enough for their exceptional service, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering under pressure. Highly recommended.Read more

Summit internet recently set my small business up with a local land line number and a soft phone that runs off an app on my mobile - getting my personal phone number off the internet and being able to distinguish between business and personal calls is a game changer. Whole process took less than a week, and is super cost effective. Highly recommend.Read more
