Overview

RJ Voice HUB is a Melbourne business that describes itself as an authorised 3CX dealer. It sells 3CX VoIP phone systems, hosted or on-premise, along with business nbn and fibre internet plans and bundles of the two, to businesses in Melbourne and across Australia.

Businesses review their phones and internet for all sorts of reasons: a contract is ending, the office is moving, the team has grown, or they want internet and phones from one licensed carrier that deals only with businesses.

Summit offers a cloud phone system with every feature included, SIP trunks for phone systems you already own, business nbn with a static IP, 4G backup and business mobile, all on a network we build, own and operate. Summit Internet is an independent carrier and is not affiliated with RJ Voice HUB.

How Summit Helps

  • A Cloud Phone System With Every Feature Included

If you want a hosted phone system, our Hosted PBX starts from $10 per user per month and includes auto attendant, ring groups, call queues, voicemail to email, call recording and mobile and desktop apps. Nothing is held back for a higher tier.

  • SIP Trunks for the Phone System You Already Have

If you would rather keep your existing phone system, SIP trunks start from 2 channels and scale up or down as your call volumes change. Tell us what you run today and we will talk through the options.

  • Business nbn With a Static IP

Business nbn is available nationally with a static IP included, and speeds up to 2000/500 Mbps on full-fibre nbn. For sites that need dedicated capacity, we offer Ethernet over fibre.

  • Voice Prioritised on Our Network

When your internet connection is also Summit's, voice traffic is prioritised with QoS, so calls are not competing with downloads, video meetings and cloud backups.

  • 4G Backup That Fails Over Automatically

4G Backup switches your connection to Australia's biggest mobile network, with 98.8% population coverage, if your main link drops, then fails back automatically when it returns.

  • Fixed Wireless in Melbourne and Regional Victoria

For Melbourne and regional Victorian businesses, our fixed wireless network covers 500+ suburbs, with symmetric speeds from 10 Mbps up to 10 Gbps, installed in 10 business days or the first month is free.

  • Microsoft Teams Calling

If your team lives in Microsoft Teams, Teams Calling via Direct Routing lets staff make and take calls on your business numbers from Teams. You keep your existing Microsoft licences.

  • Internet, Phones and Mobile on One Bill

Add business mobile SIM plans and 1300 and 1800 numbers, and your communications sit with one carrier, on one bill.

How It Works

  1. 1 Tell us what you have

Share your current phone system, number of users, phone numbers and internet services, plus your contract end date if you know it.

  2. 2 Get a tailored quote

We recommend the right mix of Hosted PBX or SIP trunks, internet and backup for your sites, and quote it clearly.

  3. 3 Install and set up

We connect your internet and configure your phone system. Handsets can be preconfigured and shipped to you, ready to plug in.

  4. 4 Port your numbers

We port your existing numbers to Summit. Keep your current phone service active until the port completes, because only active numbers can be ported. The ACMA says single local numbers generally port in 8 to 15 days, and multi-number ports can take up to 30 days.

  5. 5 Cancel the old services

Once your numbers and internet are live with Summit, you cancel the remaining services with your previous provider.

  • After working with another ISP for several months to deliver a critical internet service for a major international sporting event, we were ultimately advised that the required upgrade was unlikely to be completed prior to event week. This left us facing a significant risk to service delivery. After exhausting all other options (and a few sleepless nights) we came across Summit Internet. From the initial conversation, Allan immediately understood the severity of the situation and quickly engaged his technical delivery team. Michael “Radar” was on site within days to assess and finalise a solution. Despite challenging conditions, including large trees and other obstructions, he worked tirelessly to design and implement an alternative approach. Leveraging an adjacent building, a temporary NBN connection, and a wireless link into the comms room, the solution was delivered within 24 hours of the initial site visit. Not only was the outcome faster than expected, but it was also more cost effective and delivered higher speeds than originally promised by the previous ISP. Over the course of the event, the service handled terabytes of data and supported hundreds of concurrent users without a single speed or performance issue. I cannot thank Summit Internet, particularly Allan and Radar enough for their exceptional service, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering under pressure. Highly recommended.Read more

Frequently asked questions

Is Summit Internet part of RJ Voice HUB?
No. Summit Internet is an independent Australian carrier holding ACMA Carrier Licence #388. We are not affiliated with RJ Voice HUB in any way.
Why switch if my RJ Voice HUB service is working?
If your current setup does everything your business needs, there may be no reason to change. Many businesses compare options when a contract is ending, when they move office or grow, or when they want phones and internet from one licensed carrier. We are happy to give you a quote to compare.
Will I have to pay to break my contract?
That depends on the terms of your agreement with RJ Voice HUB. Check your contract for any minimum term or exit fees, and if you can, time your switch to line up with the end of your contract.
Can I keep my phone numbers?
Yes, existing numbers can be ported to Summit. Keep your current service active until the port completes, because only active numbers can be ported. The ACMA says single local numbers generally port in 8 to 15 days, and multi-number ports can take up to 30 days.
Do I have to replace my phone system?
Not necessarily. You can move to our Hosted PBX cloud phone system, or keep your existing system and connect it with SIP trunks. We will talk through which suits your business.
Can I move my internet as well as my phones?
Yes. We offer business nbn with a static IP nationally, Ethernet over fibre, and fixed wireless in Melbourne and regional Victoria. When your internet is also Summit's, voice traffic is prioritised.
What happens to our calls if the internet goes down?
With 4G Backup, your connection fails over automatically to Australia's biggest mobile network and fails back automatically when your main service returns.
Is Summit's fixed wireless available at my address?
Our fixed wireless network covers Melbourne and regional Victoria only. Check your coverage to see if your address is in range. Business nbn is available nationally.
