Overview

Nobleheart is an Australian telecommunications provider with a contact address in Erina, NSW, on the Central Coast. It sells a cloud-hosted phone system, ConnectYou, along with business fibre and nbn internet connections, and says its customers include schools, government-funded organisations, community groups and private businesses.

Businesses review their phone provider for plenty of reasons: the business has grown, they are moving office, their IT arrangements have changed, or they want internet and phones from one licensed carrier that deals only with businesses, so there is one network and one provider responsible for call quality.

Summit offers a cloud phone system, SIP trunks for a phone system you own, Microsoft Teams Calling and inbound numbers, together with business internet on a network we build, own and operate. Summit Internet is an independent carrier and is not affiliated with Nobleheart.

How Summit Helps

  • A Business-Only Carrier

Summit does not sell residential services. Every product, plan and support process is built around what businesses need, and we have been doing it for 26 years.

  • A Cloud Phone System With Every Feature Included

Moving from a hosted phone system? Hosted PBX starts from $10 per user per month and includes auto attendant, ring groups, call queues, voicemail to email, call recording and mobile and desktop apps. We can preconfigure your handsets and ship them to you.

  • SIP Trunks if You Would Rather Own the Phone System

If your organisation prefers to run its own IP-capable PBX, Summit SIP trunks connect it to the phone network. They start from 2 channels and scale up or down as your call volumes change.

  • Microsoft Teams Calling

If your staff already work in Teams, Teams Calling connects it to the phone network through Direct Routing, so people make and take calls on their business numbers from Teams. You keep buying your Microsoft licences as you do now.

  • 1300 and 1800 Numbers, Fax to Email and On-Hold Messaging

Bring your 1300 and 1800 numbers across, and keep fax to email and on-hold messaging alongside your phone system.

  • Business Internet With Voice Prioritised

Business nbn comes with a static IP included, up to 2000/500 Mbps on full-fibre nbn, and Ethernet over fibre is available for sites that need dedicated fibre. When your internet is also Summit's, voice traffic is prioritised with QoS.

  • A Network We Build and Operate

Our network has Points of Presence in NEXTDC data centres and DDoS protection as standard. 4G Backup fails over automatically to Australia's biggest mobile network, with 98.8% population coverage, and fails back when your main service returns.

  • Phones, Internet and Mobile on One Bill

Add business mobile SIM plans and your internet, phones and mobiles arrive on one bill from one carrier.

How It Works

  1. 1 Tell us what you have

List your Nobleheart services, such as hosted phone system users, direct lines, inbound numbers and your fibre or nbn connection, plus the handsets you use today.

  2. 2 Get a quote

We recommend a hosted phone system, SIP trunks or Teams Calling to match how you work, and send you a written quote.

  3. 3 Set up your new service

We configure your phone system, with handsets preconfigured and shipped if you need them, and connect your internet if it is moving too.

  4. 4 Port your numbers

We port your existing numbers across. Keep your Nobleheart service active until the port completes, because only active numbers can be ported. The ACMA says single local numbers generally port in 8 to 15 days, and multi-number ports can take up to 30 days.

  5. 5 Cancel once you are live

When your numbers have moved and calls are working on Summit, you close the old account.

  • After working with another ISP for several months to deliver a critical internet service for a major international sporting event, we were ultimately advised that the required upgrade was unlikely to be completed prior to event week. This left us facing a significant risk to service delivery. After exhausting all other options (and a few sleepless nights) we came across Summit Internet. From the initial conversation, Allan immediately understood the severity of the situation and quickly engaged his technical delivery team. Michael “Radar” was on site within days to assess and finalise a solution. Despite challenging conditions, including large trees and other obstructions, he worked tirelessly to design and implement an alternative approach. Leveraging an adjacent building, a temporary NBN connection, and a wireless link into the comms room, the solution was delivered within 24 hours of the initial site visit. Not only was the outcome faster than expected, but it was also more cost effective and delivered higher speeds than originally promised by the previous ISP. Over the course of the event, the service handled terabytes of data and supported hundreds of concurrent users without a single speed or performance issue. I cannot thank Summit Internet, particularly Allan and Radar enough for their exceptional service, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering under pressure. Highly recommended.Read more

Frequently asked questions

Is Summit Internet part of Nobleheart?
No. Summit Internet is an independent Australian carrier holding ACMA Carrier Licence #388. We are not affiliated with Nobleheart.
Why switch if my Nobleheart service is working?
If your current services do everything you need, there may be no reason to switch. Businesses usually look at Summit when they have grown, are moving office, or want phones and internet from one business-only carrier.
Will I have to pay to break my contract?
That depends on your agreement. Nobleheart says its plans are month to month, but check the terms on your account and any commitments on handsets or other equipment. It is worth planning the move around your billing cycle.
Can I keep my phone numbers?
Yes, existing numbers, including 1300 and 1800 numbers, can be ported to Summit. Keep your Nobleheart service active until the port completes, because only active numbers can be ported. The ACMA says single local numbers generally port in 8 to 15 days, and multi-number ports can take up to 30 days.
Can I keep the features my team uses now?
Our Hosted PBX includes auto attendant, ring groups, call queues, voicemail to email, call recording and mobile and desktop apps in every seat, and fax to email and on-hold messaging are available too. Tell us how your calls flow today and we will set it up to match.
Do you support Microsoft Teams calling?
Yes. We provide Teams Calling through Direct Routing. Summit does not resell Microsoft licences, so you keep those with your current Microsoft provider.
Do I need Summit internet to use Summit phones?
No. Our phone services work over your existing business internet. When your internet is also Summit's, voice traffic is prioritised with QoS, which is why many customers move both.
Can you move our internet connection as well?
Yes. We offer Business nbn with a static IP included and Ethernet over fibre, and in Melbourne and regional Victoria we offer fixed wireless across 500+ suburbs.
