Overview
Mr. Fone is a Melbourne business that sells business phone systems and business internet. Its website describes cloud-based calling with desktop and mobile apps, call queues, ring groups, voicemail to email and call recording, business nbn and fibre options with failover and backup connectivity, and an AI reception service. The site says Mr. Fone is powered by MrPC Advanced IT Solutions.
Businesses review their phone and internet provider for ordinary reasons: a contract is ending, the office is moving, the team has grown, or they want internet and phones supplied by the carrier that runs the network underneath them.
Summit offers a cloud phone system, SIP trunks for existing phone systems, Microsoft Teams Calling, business nbn with a static IP and automatic 4G backup, all on a network we build, own and operate. Summit Internet is an independent carrier and is not affiliated with Mr. Fone or MrPC Advanced IT Solutions.
How Summit Helps
-
A Cloud Phone System With Every Feature Included
Our Hosted PBX starts from $10 per user per month and includes auto attendant, ring groups, call queues, voicemail to email, call recording and mobile and desktop apps. Every feature is included, so there are no add-on tiers to work through.
-
Handsets Ready to Plug In
We can preconfigure your handsets and ship them to you, so the changeover day is a matter of plugging phones in rather than setting them up one by one.
-
SIP Trunks for the Phone System You Already Own
If you run your own phone system, SIP trunks start from 2 channels and scale up or down as your call volumes change.
-
Business nbn With a Static IP
Business nbn is available nationally with a static IP included, and speeds up to 2000/500 Mbps on full-fibre nbn. We also offer Ethernet over fibre, and in Melbourne and regional Victoria, fixed wireless is available. Check your address.
-
Automatic 4G Backup
4G Backup fails over automatically to Australia's biggest mobile network, with 98.8% population coverage, and fails back automatically when your main connection returns.
-
Voice Prioritised on Our Network
When your internet connection is also Summit's, voice traffic is prioritised with QoS, so calls are not competing with downloads and cloud backups.
-
Internet, Phones and Mobile on One Bill
Add business mobile SIM plans, 1300 and 1800 numbers, fax to email and on-hold messaging, and it all arrives on one bill from one carrier.

Port your numbers
We lodge the port of your existing numbers. Keep your current phone service active until the port completes, because only active numbers can be ported. The ACMA says single local numbers generally port in 8 to 15 days, and multi-number ports can take up to 30 days.

We recently moved our dental practice over to Summit for phone services, and the experience has been excellent from start to finish. The team has been responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire setup process. The transition was smooth, any issues were addressed promptly, and communication was always clear and efficient. Reliable phones and internet are essential for a busy practice like ours, and Summit has delivered exactly that. A special thank you to Michael for his patience and ongoing assistance during the transition. Highly recommend Summit to any business looking for reliable service and great customer support.Read more

After working with another ISP for several months to deliver a critical internet service for a major international sporting event, we were ultimately advised that the required upgrade was unlikely to be completed prior to event week. This left us facing a significant risk to service delivery. After exhausting all other options (and a few sleepless nights) we came across Summit Internet. From the initial conversation, Allan immediately understood the severity of the situation and quickly engaged his technical delivery team. Michael “Radar” was on site within days to assess and finalise a solution. Despite challenging conditions, including large trees and other obstructions, he worked tirelessly to design and implement an alternative approach. Leveraging an adjacent building, a temporary NBN connection, and a wireless link into the comms room, the solution was delivered within 24 hours of the initial site visit. Not only was the outcome faster than expected, but it was also more cost effective and delivered higher speeds than originally promised by the previous ISP. Over the course of the event, the service handled terabytes of data and supported hundreds of concurrent users without a single speed or performance issue. I cannot thank Summit Internet, particularly Allan and Radar enough for their exceptional service, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering under pressure. Highly recommended.Read more

Summit internet recently set my small business up with a local land line number and a soft phone that runs off an app on my mobile - getting my personal phone number off the internet and being able to distinguish between business and personal calls is a game changer. Whole process took less than a week, and is super cost effective. Highly recommend.Read more
