Overview
Infiniti Telecommunications is an Australian-owned provider of business phone systems for small businesses. It started in Melbourne more than 20 years ago as a phone system hardware provider, and today sells a hosted cloud phone system with physical handsets and mobile and computer apps, with NBN and data services available alongside a new phone system.
Businesses review their phone and internet provider for plenty of reasons: a contract is ending, the team is moving office, or they want their phones and the internet connection those phones depend on to come from one carrier that deals only with businesses.
Summit offers a cloud phone system, SIP trunks and Microsoft Teams Calling, plus business nbn with a static IP, 4G backup and business mobiles, all on a network we build, own and operate. Summit Internet is an independent carrier and is not affiliated with Infiniti Telecommunications.
How Summit Helps
-
A Business-Only Carrier
Summit does not sell residential services. Every product, plan and support process is built around what businesses need, and we have been doing it for 26 years.
-
A Cloud Phone System With Every Feature Included
Hosted PBX starts from $10 per user per month and includes auto attendant and IVR, ring groups, call queues, voicemail to email, call recording and mobile and desktop apps. Every feature is included, so there are no add-ons to work out per user.
-
Desk Phones Ready to Plug In
If some of your team prefer a handset to an app, we can preconfigure the handsets and ship them to you, so they work as soon as they are plugged in.
-
Business nbn With a Static IP
Business nbn comes with a static IP included, with speeds up to 2000/500 Mbps on full-fibre nbn. Our network has Points of Presence in NEXTDC data centres, with DDoS protection as standard.
-
Voice Prioritised on Your Own Carrier's Network
When your internet connection is also Summit's, voice traffic is prioritised with QoS, so calls are not competing with downloads and backups on the same line.
-
4G Backup for When the Line Drops
A cloud phone system needs a working connection. 4G Backup fails over automatically to Australia's biggest mobile network, with 98.8% population coverage, and fails back automatically when your main service returns.
-
Teams Calling or SIP Trunks if You Need Them
If your team lives in Microsoft Teams, Teams Calling connects it to the phone network through Direct Routing. If you run your own phone system, SIP trunks start from 2 channels and scale up or down.
-
Inbound Numbers, Mobiles and One Bill
Add 1300 and 1800 numbers, fax to email, on-hold messaging and business mobile SIM plans. Internet, phones and mobile arrive on one bill.

Why Infiniti Telecommunications Customers Choose Summit
- 01
Phones and Internet From One Carrier
A cloud phone system is only as good as the connection under it. With Summit, the phone system, the internet connection and the backup all come from one carrier, so you have one carrier to call about your phones and the connection they run on.
- 02
A Licensed Australian Carrier
Summit holds ACMA Carrier Licence #388 and has been connecting Australian businesses since August 2000. We build, own and operate our own network.
- 03
Every Feature, One Price Per User
Hosted PBX starts from $10 per user per month with every feature included, so adding a call queue or call recording does not change your plan.
- 04

We recently moved our dental practice over to Summit for phone services, and the experience has been excellent from start to finish. The team has been responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire setup process. The transition was smooth, any issues were addressed promptly, and communication was always clear and efficient. Reliable phones and internet are essential for a busy practice like ours, and Summit has delivered exactly that. A special thank you to Michael for his patience and ongoing assistance during the transition. Highly recommend Summit to any business looking for reliable service and great customer support.Read more

After working with another ISP for several months to deliver a critical internet service for a major international sporting event, we were ultimately advised that the required upgrade was unlikely to be completed prior to event week. This left us facing a significant risk to service delivery. After exhausting all other options (and a few sleepless nights) we came across Summit Internet. From the initial conversation, Allan immediately understood the severity of the situation and quickly engaged his technical delivery team. Michael “Radar” was on site within days to assess and finalise a solution. Despite challenging conditions, including large trees and other obstructions, he worked tirelessly to design and implement an alternative approach. Leveraging an adjacent building, a temporary NBN connection, and a wireless link into the comms room, the solution was delivered within 24 hours of the initial site visit. Not only was the outcome faster than expected, but it was also more cost effective and delivered higher speeds than originally promised by the previous ISP. Over the course of the event, the service handled terabytes of data and supported hundreds of concurrent users without a single speed or performance issue. I cannot thank Summit Internet, particularly Allan and Radar enough for their exceptional service, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering under pressure. Highly recommended.Read more

Summit internet recently set my small business up with a local land line number and a soft phone that runs off an app on my mobile - getting my personal phone number off the internet and being able to distinguish between business and personal calls is a game changer. Whole process took less than a week, and is super cost effective. Highly recommend.Read more
