  • After working with another ISP for several months to deliver a critical internet service for a major international sporting event, we were ultimately advised that the required upgrade was unlikely to be completed prior to event week. This left us facing a significant risk to service delivery. After exhausting all other options (and a few sleepless nights) we came across Summit Internet. Michael “Radar” was on site within days to assess and finalise a solution. Leveraging an adjacent building, a temporary NBN connection, and a wireless link into the comms room, the solution was delivered within 24 hours of the initial site visit. Is Summit Internet part of Hyperwave?
No. Summit Internet is an independent Australian carrier (ACMA Carrier Licence #388) and is not affiliated with Hyperwave. We run our own fixed wireless network and have done since August 2000.
Why switch if my Hyperwave service is working?
If it does everything your business needs, you may not need to. Businesses usually move to Summit when they want a network that carries business customers only, need to connect more sites, or want internet and phones from one carrier.
Will I have to pay to break my current contract?
That depends on your current agreement, so check your terms first. We can time your install to your contract end date.
Will there be downtime when I switch?
There should not be. We install and test your Summit connection while your existing service is still active.
How quickly can you connect my business?
In as little as 10 business days from order. If we do not meet that timeframe, your first month is free.
Can I keep my phone numbers?
Yes. We port your existing numbers to a Summit Hosted PBX or SIP trunk, so your callers notice no change.
Do you connect homes?
No. Summit's network is business-only.
