Overview

Divine Telecom is a telco based in Clyde North, Victoria. It sells a Cloud PBX phone system and VoIP IP phones, business nbn, business mobile and fibre services, alongside IT services, to business and government organisations.

Businesses review their provider for plenty of reasons: a contract is coming to an end, they are moving office, or they want internet and phones from one carrier that deals only with businesses, so one network and one provider are responsible for both.

Summit offers a cloud phone system, SIP trunks, Microsoft Teams Calling, business nbn, Ethernet over fibre and business mobile, all on a network we build, own and operate. Summit Internet is an independent carrier and is not affiliated with Divine Telecom.

How Summit Helps

  • A Business-Only Carrier

Summit does not sell residential services. Every product, plan and support process is built around what businesses need, and we have been doing it for 26 years.

  • A Cloud Phone System With Every Feature Included

Moving from a Cloud PBX? Hosted PBX starts from $10 per user per month and includes auto attendant, ring groups, call queues, voicemail to email, call recording and mobile and desktop apps. We can preconfigure your handsets and ship them to you.

  • SIP Trunks or Teams Calling if You Prefer

If you run your own phone system, Summit SIP trunks start from 2 channels and scale up or down. If your team lives in Microsoft Teams, Teams Calling connects it to the phone network through Direct Routing, and you keep buying your Microsoft licences as you do now.

  • Business nbn With a Static IP Included

Summit business nbn is available nationally with a static IP included, at up to 2000/500 Mbps on full-fibre nbn. It runs over our own network, with Points of Presence in NEXTDC data centres and DDoS protection as standard.

  • Ethernet Over Fibre for Sites That Need More

If your business needs a dedicated fibre service, Ethernet over fibre gives you a business-grade connection from the same carrier that runs your phones.

  • Fixed Wireless Across Melbourne and Regional Victoria

For sites in Melbourne and regional Victoria, Summit fixed wireless covers 500+ suburbs with symmetric speeds from 10 Mbps up to 10 Gbps, installed in 10 business days or the first month is free.

  • Calls Prioritised on Your Own Connection

When your internet and phones are both with Summit, voice traffic is prioritised (QoS) across the connection, so calls are not competing with downloads and backups.

  • Business Mobile and 4G Backup

Add business mobile SIM plans, and protect your connection with 4G Backup, which fails over automatically to Australia's biggest mobile network (98.8% population coverage) and fails back when your main link returns.

How It Works

  1. 1 Tell us what you have

Share your current phone system, numbers, internet services, mobiles and contract end dates, and we will recommend a setup that fits.

  2. 2 Get a clear quote

We quote phones, internet and mobile together, so you can see the whole picture on one bill before you commit.

  3. 3 Install your new connection

We arrange your Summit internet service and set up your Hosted PBX, SIP trunks or Teams Calling, with handsets preconfigured if you need them.

  4. 4 Port your numbers

We port your existing numbers to Summit. Keep your current service active until the port completes, because only active numbers can be ported. The ACMA says single local numbers generally port in 8 to 15 days, and multi-number ports can take up to 30 days.

  5. 5 Cancel the old services

Once your numbers have ported and everything is working on Summit, you can close your remaining services with your old provider.

  • After working with another ISP for several months to deliver a critical internet service for a major international sporting event, we were ultimately advised that the required upgrade was unlikely to be completed prior to event week. This left us facing a significant risk to service delivery. After exhausting all other options (and a few sleepless nights) we came across Summit Internet. From the initial conversation, Allan immediately understood the severity of the situation and quickly engaged his technical delivery team. Michael “Radar” was on site within days to assess and finalise a solution. Despite challenging conditions, including large trees and other obstructions, he worked tirelessly to design and implement an alternative approach. Leveraging an adjacent building, a temporary NBN connection, and a wireless link into the comms room, the solution was delivered within 24 hours of the initial site visit. Not only was the outcome faster than expected, but it was also more cost effective and delivered higher speeds than originally promised by the previous ISP. Over the course of the event, the service handled terabytes of data and supported hundreds of concurrent users without a single speed or performance issue. I cannot thank Summit Internet, particularly Allan and Radar enough for their exceptional service, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering under pressure. Highly recommended.Read more

  • Summit internet recently set my small business up with a local land line number and a soft phone that runs off an app on my mobile - getting my personal phone number off the internet and being able to distinguish between business and personal calls is a game changer. Frequently asked questions

Is Summit Internet part of Divine Telecom?
No. Summit Internet is an independent Australian carrier holding ACMA Carrier Licence #388, and is not affiliated with Divine Telecom.
Why switch if my Divine Telecom service is working?
If your current services do everything you need, there may be no reason to change. Businesses usually review their provider when a contract is ending, when they move office, or when they want internet and phones from one business-only carrier.
Will I have to pay to break my contract?
That depends on your agreement with Divine Telecom. Check your contract terms, and if you are on a fixed term, time the switch to line up with your contract end date.
Can I keep my phone numbers?
Yes, existing numbers can be ported to Summit. Keep your current service active until the port completes, because only active numbers can be ported. The ACMA says single local numbers generally port in 8 to 15 days, and multi-number ports can take up to 30 days.
Can I keep my existing IP phones?
It depends on the handset model. Tell us what you have and we will confirm, or we can preconfigure new handsets for Hosted PBX and ship them to you.
Do you offer business nbn outside Victoria?
Yes. Summit business nbn is available nationally, with a static IP included. Fixed wireless is available in Melbourne and regional Victoria only.
Can I move my business mobiles too?
Yes. Summit offers business mobile SIM plans, so your mobiles can sit on the same bill as your internet and phones.
What happens if my internet goes down?
With 4G Backup, your connection fails over automatically to Australia's biggest mobile network and fails back when your main service returns.
