Overview

ClearCall is a Toowoomba-based provider that sells VoIP and 3CX business phone systems, both cloud and on-premise, along with SIP trunks, IP handsets, 1800 numbers, nbn services and managed IT to businesses in Queensland and beyond.

Businesses review their phone provider for plenty of ordinary reasons: a contract is coming to an end, the office is moving, the 3CX system is due for renewal, or the team wants internet and phones from a single carrier on one bill. Others simply want a provider that only serves businesses.

Summit Internet offers a fully featured Hosted PBX from $10 per user per month, SIP trunks that work with your existing phone system, Microsoft Teams Calling via Direct Routing and 1300 and 1800 numbers. We also supply business nbn with a static IP included, so your voice traffic can be prioritised on a connection we run end to end.

Summit Internet is an independent carrier and is not affiliated with ClearCall.

How Summit Helps

  • A cloud phone system with every feature included

Summit's Hosted PBX starts from $10 per user per month with auto attendant, ring groups, call queues, voicemail to email, call recording and mobile and desktop apps all included. There are no feature tiers to work through.

  • SIP trunks for the phone system you already own

If you want to keep your existing 3CX or other IP PBX, Summit SIP trunks connect to it directly. Start from 2 channels and scale up or down as your call volume changes.

  • Keep your existing numbers

We port your existing local, mobile and 1300 or 1800 numbers to Summit. Your customers keep dialling the same numbers they always have.

  • Handsets ready to plug in

For Hosted PBX customers, handsets can be preconfigured and shipped to your office, so your team can plug in and start taking calls.

  • Teams Calling without changing apps

If your staff already live in Microsoft Teams, Summit can deliver calling through Direct Routing. You keep your existing Microsoft licences, as Summit does not resell them.

  • Voice prioritised on Summit internet

When your internet connection is also Summit's, voice traffic is prioritised with QoS. Business nbn includes a static IP and runs up to 2000/500 Mbps on full-fibre nbn.

  • Backup that switches over automatically

Add 4G Backup and your connection fails over automatically to Australia's biggest mobile network, with 98.8% population coverage, then fails back when the main link returns.

  • One carrier, one bill

Internet, phones and business mobile can all sit on a single Summit bill, with one provider responsible for the lot.

How It Works

  1. 1 Tell us what you have

Share your current setup: how many users, your numbers, whether you run 3CX or another PBX, and when your ClearCall agreement ends.

  2. 2 Choose your path

We recommend either Hosted PBX or SIP trunks for your existing system, plus internet and backup if you want them, and send you a clear quote.

  3. 3 Set up in parallel

We build your Summit service and preconfigure handsets while your current service keeps running.

  4. 4 Port your numbers

We lodge the port request. Keep your ClearCall service active until the port completes, because only active numbers can be ported. The ACMA says single local numbers generally port in 8 to 15 days, and multi-number ports can take up to 30 days.

  5. 5 Go live and cancel

Once your numbers are live on Summit and calls are working, you can cancel the old service in line with your agreement.

  • After working with another ISP for several months to deliver a critical internet service for a major international sporting event, we were ultimately advised that the required upgrade was unlikely to be completed prior to event week. This left us facing a significant risk to service delivery. After exhausting all other options (and a few sleepless nights) we came across Summit Internet. From the initial conversation, Allan immediately understood the severity of the situation and quickly engaged his technical delivery team. Michael “Radar” was on site within days to assess and finalise a solution. Despite challenging conditions, including large trees and other obstructions, he worked tirelessly to design and implement an alternative approach. Leveraging an adjacent building, a temporary NBN connection, and a wireless link into the comms room, the solution was delivered within 24 hours of the initial site visit. Not only was the outcome faster than expected, but it was also more cost effective and delivered higher speeds than originally promised by the previous ISP. Over the course of the event, the service handled terabytes of data and supported hundreds of concurrent users without a single speed or performance issue. I cannot thank Summit Internet, particularly Allan and Radar enough for their exceptional service, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering under pressure. Highly recommended.Read more

  • Summit internet recently set my small business up with a local land line number and a soft phone that runs off an app on my mobile - getting my personal phone number off the internet and being able to distinguish between business and personal calls is a game changer. Whole process took less than a week, and is super cost effective. Highly recommend.Read more

Frequently asked questions

Is Summit Internet part of ClearCall?
No. Summit Internet is an independent Australian carrier holding ACMA Carrier Licence #388. We are not affiliated with ClearCall.
Why switch if my ClearCall service is working?
If your current service does everything you need, there may be no reason to change. Businesses usually look at Summit when a contract is ending, they are moving office, they want internet and phones from one carrier, or they want a provider that only serves businesses.
Will I have to pay to break my contract?
That depends on your agreement with ClearCall. Check your contract terms, and if there is an exit fee, we can plan your switch to line up with the end of your contract.
Can I keep my phone numbers?
Yes. We can port your existing numbers to Summit. Keep your current service active until the port is complete, because only active numbers can be ported. The ACMA says single local numbers generally port in 8 to 15 days, and multi-number ports can take up to 30 days.
Can I keep my 3CX system?
If you want to keep your existing 3CX or other IP PBX, Summit SIP trunks can connect to it. If you would rather stop managing a phone system, our Hosted PBX moves everything to the cloud.
What does Summit's Hosted PBX include?
Every feature is included from $10 per user per month: auto attendant and IVR, ring groups, call queues, voicemail to email, call recording, and mobile and desktop apps.
Do I have to move my internet to Summit too?
No. Our phone services work over your existing internet. If you do move your internet to Summit as well, voice traffic is prioritised and everything sits on one bill.
Do you work with businesses outside Melbourne?
Yes. Summit's voice services and business nbn are available to Australian businesses nationally. Our fixed wireless network is limited to Melbourne and regional Victoria.
