Overview
Capti Networks Pty Ltd is a licensed Australian telecommunications carrier. It sells apartment and home internet, and to businesses it offers data services including business fibre, dark fibre, third-party Reach Fibre, fixed wireless and wavelength services, along with hosted IP voice, 1300/1800/13 numbers, colocation, IP transit and private IP networks. Its fixed wireless network is concentrated in South East Queensland.
There are plenty of ordinary reasons a business might review its provider: a contract coming to an end, a move to an office the current network does not reach, opening a site in another state, or wanting internet and phones from one carrier that sells only to businesses.
Summit Internet has served Australian businesses for 26 years and sells only to businesses. We build, own and operate our own network, with Points of Presence in NEXTDC data centres and DDoS protection as standard. We offer business nbn with a static IP included, Ethernet over fibre, 4G Backup and business phone services, all on one bill.
Summit Internet is an independent carrier and is not affiliated with Capti Networks.
How Summit Helps
-
Ethernet over fibre for sites that need a dedicated link
If your business runs on a fibre service today, Ethernet over fibre gives you a dedicated business-grade connection. Tell us your address and we will tell you what is available there.
-
Business nbn with a static IP included
For offices where business nbn suits, our plans include a static IP for remote access, VPNs and hosted applications. On full-fibre nbn, speeds go up to 2000/500 Mbps.
-
Our own network, with DDoS protection as standard
Summit builds, owns and operates its own network, with Points of Presence in NEXTDC data centres. DDoS protection is included as standard on our services.
-
4G Backup for when the main link drops
4G Backup fails over automatically to Australia's biggest mobile network, with 98.8% population coverage, and fails back automatically when your main connection returns.
-
4G Static IP for temporary or hard-to-reach sites
Where a fixed service is not yet in place, a 4G Static IP service can keep a site connected with a consistent address for remote access.
-
Phones from the same carrier
Move your phones as well if it suits you. Our Hosted PBX cloud phone system starts from $10 per user per month with every feature included, or connect an existing phone system with SIP trunks. When your internet is also Summit's, voice traffic is prioritised.
-
1300 and 1800 numbers
Keep your inbound numbers working with Summit's 1300 and 1800 services, alongside fax to email and on-hold messaging.
-
One bill for internet, phones and mobile
Internet, phones and business mobile SIM plans can all sit on one Summit bill, which keeps administration simple.

We recently moved our dental practice over to Summit for phone services, and the experience has been excellent from start to finish. The team has been responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire setup process. The transition was smooth, any issues were addressed promptly, and communication was always clear and efficient. Reliable phones and internet are essential for a busy practice like ours, and Summit has delivered exactly that. A special thank you to Michael for his patience and ongoing assistance during the transition. Highly recommend Summit to any business looking for reliable service and great customer support.Read more

After working with another ISP for several months to deliver a critical internet service for a major international sporting event, we were ultimately advised that the required upgrade was unlikely to be completed prior to event week. This left us facing a significant risk to service delivery. After exhausting all other options (and a few sleepless nights) we came across Summit Internet. From the initial conversation, Allan immediately understood the severity of the situation and quickly engaged his technical delivery team. Michael “Radar” was on site within days to assess and finalise a solution. Despite challenging conditions, including large trees and other obstructions, he worked tirelessly to design and implement an alternative approach. Leveraging an adjacent building, a temporary NBN connection, and a wireless link into the comms room, the solution was delivered within 24 hours of the initial site visit. Not only was the outcome faster than expected, but it was also more cost effective and delivered higher speeds than originally promised by the previous ISP. Over the course of the event, the service handled terabytes of data and supported hundreds of concurrent users without a single speed or performance issue. I cannot thank Summit Internet, particularly Allan and Radar enough for their exceptional service, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering under pressure. Highly recommended.Read more

Summit internet recently set my small business up with a local land line number and a soft phone that runs off an app on my mobile - getting my personal phone number off the internet and being able to distinguish between business and personal calls is a game changer. Whole process took less than a week, and is super cost effective. Highly recommend.Read more
